Although this is a sports blog, sometimes things come along that need to be shared. Ted Kennedy, brother of our 35th President John F. Kennedy, died yesterday at his home in
Hyannis Port Massachusetts. Kennedy was serving in the Senate for Massachusetts, and he will be remembered for what he did for this country. For the sports aspect of this, Kennedy played football at Harvard, and NFL teams such as the Packers showed interest in him, but of course, Kennedy chose politics. Kennedy was a huge Red
Sox fan, and even threw out the first pitch on opening day. Forever, Edward Kennedy will be remembered for being a sports fan, a political great, and a member of one of the greatest political families. May Edward (Ted) Kennedy, rest in peace.
